Government addressing operational challenges at Richards Bay Port: Zikalala
Public Works and Infrastructure Minister, Sihle Zikalala, says government is addressing operational challenges at Richards Bay Port ,in KwaZulu-Natal.
There have been major backlogs at the port, causing traffic congestion on the N2 highway around Richards Bay.
Zikalalahas given an update on what is being done to resolve issues at the port.

As some of you might know, or maybe not, many of the cities and towns in South Africa are currently being renamed. Renaming a city or town is a big deal and not done without quite thorough thought. Port Elizabeth City already had a few nicknames before the official change from Port Elizabeth to Gqeberha. Some people nicknamed it “the Windy City”, “the Friendly City”, “iBhayi” and most cut it short to plain and easy PE.
So why go through all the trouble to change a heavily populated city which already has a simple name?
